Common Questions

Looking for more information about the work that we do? This is a collection of all the questions we are asked most often. If there is anything we didn’t cover, please let us know.

Berwick St John Country Fayre 2021

Is the Berwick St John Country Fayre every year?

No it is not. It is once every two years, so we have one year on, and one year off. It is every other year because it is an event run solely by volunteers, and it takes the whole year to organise.

Do you need to buy a ticket to the Berwick St John Country Fayre?

There are no tickets required, entry is free but we do encourage donations to the Stars Appeal on arrival to the show ground.

Are dogs allowed?

When does the public camping open for the Berwick St John Country Fayre?
Do we have to book in advance?

Yes we do allow dogs, they must however, be on leads at all times. There will be various loud noises throughout the weekend, so if your dog is sensitive to unexpected loud sounds, we would recommend leaving your dog at home. Please pick up dog poo and put in the bins on site. There will also be water stations for dogs around the site.

Dogs considered to be dangerous, will be asked to leave the showground.

Public camping opens on Wednesday 12th September 2024. We advise booking camping in advance, and there will be forms available to download  in the build up to the event. Camping is £15 a night if you book in advance, and £20 if you pay on the day.

Are there disabled facilities?

Yes, there is disabled parking on site but you must have your disabled badge on display. There are also disabled toilets which will be marked on the site plan.

Are mobility scooters available for hire?

Unfortunately, we do not have mobile scooters for hire at the Country Fayre this year, we are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

What time does the bar close?

11pm on Friday and Saturday, and Sunday at 4pm.
